Duluth, GA – July 24, 2018 – Heat Transfer Products Group, LLC (HTPG), manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment sold under the known brands of Russell, Witt, Kramer and ColdZone, was recognized for excellence in product design in the 15th annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine. An independent panel of contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 98 entries. HTPG’s QV-Series Condensing Units™ won the Silver Award in the Refrigeration & Ice Machines category. “Our team continues to innovate and added several industry-first features on the QV-Series models to make these units easier to install and service, such as the floored and lighted compressor cabinet with removable compressor tray, 110V service convenience outlet, service gauge hooks, separate high and low voltage control panels, and hinged and removable access panels,” said Westbrook. These features were in response to feedback received during our two-year design process and “voice of the customer” method to identify key features and enhancements most requested by our customers and their service technicians.
QV-Series Condensing Units also integrate a floating coil design, swept wing fan blades, hinged venturi panels, and a LED lighted control panel—unique features from the Quantum Air Condensers. Models are available in single, dual or parallel compressor configurations from 15 to 100 HP. The units are compatible with multiple refrigerants and come in flooded and non-flooded versions. These vertical air flow units are manufactured to last and are easy to customize to meet the needs of the food processing, industrial cooling and warehousing industries.
